Fruity Mineral Gummy Snacks

These are a huge hit for the whole family! And I love knowing that I am helping them get their minerals in, while enjoying a tasty snack.

Equipment

  • 1 Small sauce pan
  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 glass baking dish (or silicone molds)
  • 1 Whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Tart cherry juice (Or fruit juice of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup Grass-fed beef gelatin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea salt
  • 1/4 cup Honey (Or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 oz Master Mineral Tonic optional

Instructions
 

  • Add the fruit juice to a small sauce pan
  • Sprinkle the grass-fed beef gelatin on top and let it sit for 5 minutes to “bloom”
  • Place the pan over medium heat and add honey + salt
  • Warm mixture until it’s just dissolved, do not bring to a boil
  • Remove from heat and cool, the add your liquid minerals
  • Pour into silicone molds or a glass baking dish
  • Place in the fridge to set for 2-3 hours
  • Remove from molds and store in an airtight container for 7-10 days (Don’t worry, they wont last that long!)

Notes

Make sure you are using a high quality grass fed bovine gelatin. Collagen will NOT work.
You can sub the tart cherry juice with any fruit juice your family enjoys. The tart cherry juice is a great addition for sleep benefits, but if you just want these as an easy snack, we love using orange juice as well.
If you still want a good source of minerals, without using the tonic listed, you can sub with 1/2 tsp high quality sea salt. We love Baja Gold!
